At Geely Rockingham, we’re more than just a dealership — we’re the newest chapter in a story that began over a century ago. As the first and only Geely dealership south of the river in Perth, we are proud to bring one of the world’s most exciting automotive brands to a state-of-the-art showroom and service hub right here on Smeaton Way, Rockingham.

Geely Rockingham is part of the respected Shacks Motor Group, a proudly family-owned business that has been serving Western Australian motorists since 1922. It all began when Andy Shack opened a small automotive repair shop on Adelaide Street in Fremantle. Guided by Andy’s values of honesty, integrity, and customer-first service, the business quickly earned a reputation for quality and care — a legacy that continues to this day.

Through resilience, innovation, and dedication to doing the right thing, Shacks Motor Group has withstood the test of time — surviving a world war, the Great Depression, and a global pandemic. In 1934, Andy was joined by Pat Kerr, a mechanic and future business partner who helped grow the business into a thriving dealership group. The formation of Shack Motors followed soon after, with a strong partnership forged through securing one of Australia’s first Holden franchises — a relationship that became one of the most successful in the country.

Today, Shacks Motor Group operates across multiple locations, representing leading automotive brands including Mazda, Volkswagen, GMSV, and now Geely, along with Holden Service Centres, PPG Automotive Paints, 3M and one of WA’s largest used car inventories, Shacks Used Cars. At Geely Rockingham, we honour that century-long tradition while embracing the future of driving.
